Edit permission sets

Learn how to edit permission sets via the web app.

Edit a permission set

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Click your organization name on the lower-left corner of the page and select Permissions.

  3. Click the permission set.

  4. On this page, you can edit the following settings for the permission set:

    • Title: Hover your cursor over the title and click image to edit accordingly.

    • Description: Hover your cursor over the description and click image on the right-hand side to edit accordingly.

    • Permissions: Click Edit iconEdit permissions at the top of the page and check or uncheck the permissions that form part of the permission set. Then, click Save changes.

The seat type for a permission set can't be changed once it's created.

  • Manage billing settings, like your organization’s billing details or payment methods, and view tax invoices.

  • Seat type: Full seat

  • Add, remove, and manage users, as well as view user profiles.

  • Seat type: Full seat

  • Create, edit, and delete sites, as well as manage site membership.

  • Seat type: Full seat

Groups

  • Create, edit, and delete groups, as well as manage group membership.

  • Seat type: Full seat

  • Create and share courses. Please note publishing and assigning courses require the “Manage content” permission.

  • View all templates, inspections, and actions on the web app. This overrides any existing access rules. Please note that the "Enable for mobile app" option is not available for organizations with more than 200 active templates.
