What are onboarding workflows in SafetyCulture?

Onboarding workflows is a feature within SafetyCulture Training that helps you guide your workers through the steps they need to complete before starting their roles. These often include completing required training courses and submitting credentials.

As your workers move through a workflow, you can track their progress and confirm that all requirements have been met. This gives you more confidence that your team has the right skills, knowledge, and qualifications to execute their job safely and meet compliance standards.

You can add draft courses to your onboarding worklow. When the onboarding worklow is published, any draft courses included will be published automatically.

If a published course is part of an onboarding workflow, make sure to remove the course from the onboarding steps before deleting or reverting it to draft. Otherwise, it will be automatically removed from the workflow, which can disrupt workers in progress and lead to an incomplete onboarding experience.
