Manage AI credit subscriptions

Learn how to buy, reduce, remove, and cancel credit subscriptions to pay for SafetyCulture AI usage at a prepaid, discounted rate.

What are my AI credit options?

Every organization gets included and gifted AI credits to use for free. Once those credits run out, you choose how to pay for any AI usage beyond them. A credit subscription gives you prepaid, discounted credits billed on a regular monthly or annual cycle, which works best if you expect steady or higher AI use and want predictable costs. You buy credits in packs at the organization level. An overage limit is pay-as-you-go, where you're only charged for AI usage that goes beyond your credits, which suits occasional or unpredictable use.

Add a credit subscription pack

  1. Log in to the web app (opens in new tab).

  2. Click your organization name on the lower-left corner of the page and select Billing.

  3. Click Usage at the top of the page.

  4. Click Add credit subscription at the bottom of the page.

  5. In the pop-up window, select a credit subscription pack and the total number of credits you want. Add credit subscription dialog showing available credit pack options, a quantity selector for the chosen pack, and pricing details, with Cancel and Update plan buttons to confirm.

  6. Click Update plan.

A new credit subscription pack takes effect immediately, is charged pro-rata for the rest of the current billing cycle, then at the full rate each cycle. You receive the full credits regardless of when you buy.

Update credit subscription packs

For organizations on a monthly subscription, you can reduce or remove packs yourself, but only within 28 days before your renewal date. Changes apply from your next billing cycle, not when your monthly credits reset. If you're on an annual subscription, contact your account manager to make changes.

  1. Log in to the web app (opens in new tab).

  2. Click your organization name on the lower-left corner of the page and select Billing.

  3. Click Usage at the top of the page.

  4. In "Credit subscription", click Manage.

  5. In the pop-up window, select a different credit subscription pack or modify the total number of credits you want.   6. Click Update plan.

Cancel a credit subscription

If you cancel your credit subscription, it stops at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep the credits you've already paid for until the cycle ends, and unused subscription credits don't roll over to the next cycle. After your subscription ends, any AI usage beyond your included and gifted credits is charged through your overage limit, if you have one set.

  1. Log in to the web app (opens in new tab).

  2. Click your organization name on the lower-left corner of the page and select Billing.

  3. Click Usage at the top of the page.

  4. In "Credit subscription", click Manage.
