How do course assigned notifications work?

Course assigned notifications help you and your team stay on top of training by sending email, push, or SMS notifications when a course is assigned to all users in your organization, to a group or site they belong to, or when a previously assigned course is republished. This will remove the need for manual reminders when a course is assigned to you and your team, improving user engagement and increasing course completion rates.

Course assigned notification

Course assigned notification applies only to the initial assigned notification. This doesn't affect course reminders, due dates, and overdue status notifications, which are triggered by applying a due date to a course.

Course assigned notifications are turned on by default when you create a new course.
