What's a team manager in Training?

For businesses, we understand the importance of empowering shift leaders, certified trainers, and similar roles to oversee team training while minimizing administrative burden. With SafetyCulture, users can be designated as team managers for specific groups or sites, enabling them to conduct practical assessments, facilitate group training, and view analytics tailored to their assigned teams without being overwhelmed by unnecessary permissions or content management tasks.

Before you assign a user as a team manager, please ensure they're assigned a permission set that has "Training: Manage teams" permission.

Qué necesitará

You can assign a user as a team manager for levels above a site so that they automatically become team managers for all the levels below.

Asignar un gestor de equipo

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Training iconFormación from the menu on the left-hand side.

  3. Select Gestionar equipos at the top of the page.

  4. Click the group or site name.

  5. In the side panel, search for the user in the "Manager" field and select them. image

  6. Click Guardar.

Asignar en masa a los gestores de equipos

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Training iconFormación from the menu on the left-hand side.

  3. Select Gestionar equipos at the top of the page.

  4. Check the boxes of the groups and sites you want to assign team managers to. Your selections will be kept as you switch between the "Groups" and "Sites" tabs.

  5. Click Asignar on the lower-right corner of the page. image

  6. In the pop-up window, search for the user in the "Manager" field and select them.

  7. Click Siguiente.

  8. Click Asignar gestores.

Desasignar un gestor de equipo

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Training iconFormación from the menu on the left-hand side.

  3. Select Gestionar equipos at the top of the page.

  4. Click the group or site name.

  5. In the side panel, click Cross/close/clear icon on the user's right-hand side or click Borrar todo image

  6. Click Guardar.
