Create number response questions
Learn why you need to use number questions in your templates, what units of measurement you can use, and how you can create one via the web app and the mobile app.Why use number response questions?
Number response questions are great for capturing precise and quantifiable data while conducting an inspection. You can even specify the unit of measurement you want to use, such as distance, volume, time, weight, or electricity. Standardizing units in your number response questions eliminates guesswork and misinterpretation and ensures everyone in your team records every piece of critical information in the same way.

You can use the following units in your number response questions to standardize captured values.

Frequently asked questions
Temperature units in number response questions are ideal for manually capturing temperature data while conducting inspections. If you prefer Bluetooth thermometers to capture the temperature or would like to set up a temperature threshold so any response that falls outside of your specified range is highlighted in inspections and reports, it's best to use temperature response questions instead.
