Add responses to Global Response Sets
Learn how to add responses to Global Response Sets via the web app.
What are Global Response Sets (GRS)?
Global Response Sets (GRS) are lists of items that you can reuse across templates as multiple-choice responses. You can apply a GRS to all templates in your organization and make changes from a single point.
Take note
You can only have up to 15,000 responses in each GRS.
GRSs can be added to templates as a type of response, similar to custom response sets.
Each GRS response has a fixed score value of "1" and is visible in a light gray color (hex: #707070) in inspections and reports.
Published changes made to templates only apply to new inspections moving forward.
Add a response to a Global Response Set (GRS)
Select Templates from the menu on the left-hand side.
Select Responses from the tab on the top of the page.
Click the Global Response Set you want to add a response to.
In the side panel, click Add response and add your responses accordingly.
Click Save and apply.
Select Templates from the menu on the left-hand side.
Click the template and select Edit template in the side panel.
Select any question and click on the right-hand side, under "Type of response".
Click on the right-hand side of the Global Response Set you want to add a response to.
In the side panel, click Add response and add your responses accordingly.
Click Save and apply.
Click Publish on the upper-right of the page to publish the template. If you're not ready to publish the template, you can go back to the templates list and come back when you're ready.
Add GRS responses in bulk via CSV upload
Select Templates from the menu on the left-hand side.
Select Responses from the tab on the top of the page.
Click the Global Response Set you want to add a response to.
In the side panel, click in the upper-right and select Download as CSV.
Add each new response to your CSV as a new row under the "label" column and save your changes.
Select Upload responses as CSV.
Drag and drop your CSV file into the "Drag your CSV file here" box or click browse to select the file from your computer directory.
Click Save and apply.
We recommend bulk adding responses to Global Responses via CSV upload through the "Responses" tab. This allows you to first download the list of existing responses within your GRS and add responses accordingly.
