Start inspections from issues
Learn how to start inspections directly from issues via the web app and the mobile app to easily link inspections and capture the data needed to resolve issues faster. Why start inspections from issues?
Starting an inspection from an issue helps you capture the additional information needed to understand and follow up on the reported issue. You can start an inspection from an issue when it requires more information or supporting evidence. From the reported issue, you can quickly select a linked template to start and complete the inspection. This provides a clear trail of documentation and helps you and your team resolve issues as quickly as possible.
If you have the "Issues: Settings" permission, you can pre-select up to 25 templates to link to an issue category on the web app. Anyone who then reports an issue related to that category can easily start an inspection using any of the templates you've chosen.
