The Sensors feature gives you real-time insight into your assets' environmental conditions. SafetyCulture users can contact us to find out about our hardware sensors solutions or add weather data feeds powered by AccuWeather without additional hardware.

Yes, it does. As each country or region has its own radio frequency requirements, we will send you hardware that meets these requirements, based on your location.

No, gateways and sensors connect via LoRaWAN, 3G, and 4G connections.

As long as you have the "Sensors: Manage" or "Sensors: Access" permission, you can access sensors from both the web app and the mobile app.

We support temperature, humidity, and wind readings as part of weather data feeds powered by AccuWeather. We plan to support more weather types soon, so if there is a particular weather type you'd want to see, please let us know by providing your feedback.

We offer a range of sensors, such as:

One gateway can support multiple sensors. We recommend that no more than 30 sensors are connected to a single gateway to ensure reliable data transmission.

You can set up sensor alerts to notify you when a sensor's batteries need to be replaced. On average, sensor batteries should last around two years. Typically, you should receive two months' notice before a sensor's batteries fully discharge.

No, your sensors will continue to capture readings and transmit them to SafetyCulture once they're back online. We recommend that you reconnect your sensors and gateway within three days to prevent data loss.
