Delete files in issues

Learn how to delete files in issues via the web app to keep your records accurate and relevant.

Why delete files in issues?

Deleting files in an issue helps keep its content relevant. Files can pile up when someone uploads the wrong file, attaches the same file twice, or older files stop being relevant as the issue progresses. You can delete files directly from the issue when they're no longer needed. This ensures anyone working on the issue is only seeing what's current. Over time, cleaner records make it easier to act on the right information and reduce the chance of confusion.

Click the three-dot menu next to a file on the Files tab and select Delete.
