Delete or unlink documents or images from assets

Learn how to delete or unlink documents and images from assets via the web app and mobile app to keep asset records accurate and avoid outdated or duplicate files.

Deleting is irreversible, and we cannot restore permanently deleted items. Confirmation is always required before any deletion, so be sure you're not accidentally deleting the wrong item.

Delete a document from an asset

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Assets in the sidebar or select it in Assets gallery viewMore .

  3. You can choose how you want to view your assets by selecting

    Table     , Assets gallery viewGallery , or Map iconMap on the upper-right of the page. You can also filter by type or site.

  4. Search and select the asset.

  5. In Overview , go to the "Documents" section.

  6. Click

    on the right-hand of the file, and then select Remove .

  7. In the pop-up window, click Remove .Unlink a file from an asset via the web app.

  8. Alternatively, click Documents at the center of the page.

  9. Click

    on the right-hand of the file, and then select Remove .

  10. In the pop-up window, click Remove .Unlink a file from an asset on the Documents tab via the web app.

Delete an image from an asset

  1. Select Assets in the sidebar or select it in Assets gallery viewMore .

  2. You can choose how you want to view your assets by selecting

    Table     , Assets gallery viewGallery , or Map iconMap on the upper-right of the page. You can also filter by type or site.

  3. Search and select the asset.

  4. In Overview , go to the "Images" section.

  5. Select the image.

  6. Click

    on the upper-right of the page.

  7. In the pop-up window, click Delete .Delete a document from an asset via the web app.

  8. Alternatively, click Images at the center of the page.

  9. Select the image.

  10. Click

    on the upper-right of the page.

  11. In the pop-up window, click Delete .Remove an image from an asset on the Images tab via the web app.

Unlink a file from an asset

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Assets in the sidebar or select it in Assets gallery viewMore .

  3. You can choose how you want to view your assets by selecting

  4. Search and select the asset.
