Restore archived user fields

Learn how to restore archived user fields via the web app so they're available for user profiles and membership and assignment rules.

What happens when you restore an archived user field?

Restoring an archived user field brings it back across SafetyCulture, including on user profiles, with its data intact. Membership rules linked to the field are not restored automatically. After restoring, you'll need to set up those rules again manually.

Restore an archived user field

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Click your organization name on the lower-left corner of the page and select Users.

  3. Click on the upper-right corner of the page and select Manage user fields.

  4. Click on the upper-right corner of the page and select View archived fields.

  5. Click on the user field's right-hand side and select Restore. Open the three-dot menu next to Create field to view archived fields, then select the archived field's three-dot menu to restore the field.
