What is an inspection history?
Inspection history records all the changes that users make to an inspection. It gives teams full visibility into how an inspection updates over time by making it clear who changed what and when.
For example, if a user updates or adds a response, that change appears in the history along with the user's name, what changed, and the exact time it occurred. You can also download the inspection history when needed for audit and compliance. This makes it easy to trace changes, review what happened during an inspection, and maintain accountability.

What you'll need
The "Inspection started by" field automatically populates with the name of the inspection author. This is the user who last edited the inspection.
View an inspection history
Select Inspections in the sidebar or select it in More.
Click on the right-hand side of the inspection and select View history.

On this page, you can view a list of changes from the latest edit at the top to the start of the inspection at the bottom. Hover over a relative time label to see the exact date and time a change was synced.

You can download up to seven years of inspection history as a CSV file.
The map view allows you to review where each inspection response has been answered on a map.
Limitations
The inspection history is stored for 12 months up to 7 years. Any records older than 7 years are permanently deleted and will no longer be available.
An inspection history does not include actions created in inspections and responses to questions using the "Annotation", "Asset", or "Site" response types.
The inspection history will show both the date and time, even if only one was selected in a question with a date and time or inspection date response type.
