Send template copies to users in other organizations
Learn how to send template copies to users in other organizations via the web app.What does it mean to send a template copy?
Sending a template copy creates an independent version of your template that you can share with users outside your organization. This standalone copy is separate from your original and is not affected by data center restrictions or access rules. Additionally, any changes made to the original template after sending won’t apply to the copy.
This is useful for working with external teams, allowing them to follow your inspection workflows without restrictions while keeping your original template unchanged.
If sending template copies is turned off for your organization, you won’t be able to send these to external users.
Send a template copy to users in other organizations
Select
Plantillas from the menu on the left-hand side.
Click
on the right-hand side of the template and select
Send a copy.
In the pop-up window, enter the email address of the user from another organization and click Enviar.
Click Enviar.
Please note that the recipient must accept the invitation within three days to access the template copy.

On the other hand, sharing a template externally depends on the user’s data center:
If the user is in the same data center as you, you can give direct access to the template, and any changes you make will apply across organizations using it.
If the user is in a data center different from yours, you can send a snapshot of the template for the user to import as a separate template in their account.
You can send a template copy to another user in a different organization but not to your own account, as your email address cannot be used as the recipient.
Solo puede enviar hasta 10 copias de plantilla a la vez. Si ha alcanzado este límite, deberá esperar a que se acepte alguna invitación o a que caduque (tras 3 días) antes de poder enviar más.
Debe aceptar la invitación con la misma dirección de correo electrónico a la que fue enviada. Si la invitación fue enviada a un correo electrónico sin cuenta en SafetyCulture, tendrá que registrarse con ese correo para poder acceder a la copia de la plantilla.
