View sub-schedules

Learn what sub-schedules are and how to view them in the new Schedules experience via the web app.

We currently have a legacy and a new experience with the Schedules feature.

This article covers the new Schedules experience. Please ensure you're in the new experience by using the toggle on the upper-left of the Schedules page.

What are sub-schedules?

In the new Schedules experience, sub-schedules are the schedules created for each site whenever you assign a schedule at a higher level in your site hierarchy.

For example, you are managing a "Downtown" site that contains 27 construction sites. If you need to schedule weekly safety inspections, you don’t have to manually create 27 schedules. Instead, you create one schedule and assign it to the “Downtown” site level, and the system generates 27 sub-schedules, one for each construction site. Any updates you make to the main schedule, such as updating the time, frequency, or duration, are automatically applied to all sub-schedules.

This makes it far easier to manage schedules across multiple sites, saving time, reducing repetitive admin work, and ensuring every site stays consistent.

When you assign a schedule to multiple sites, inherited site members are no longer included as schedule assignees.

If you have "Schedules: Manage" permission, you can manage all schedules in your organization.
