Why create start inspection QR codes?

We believe starting inspections should be simple and easy for everyone. With iAuditor, you can create QR codes for your team members to scan and start inspections easily on their mobile devices.

What you'll need

  • You can only create start inspection QR codes via the web app.

  • Start inspection QR codes only support the mobile app. You can create web app deep links for your team members to start inspections via the web app.

Team members that scan a start inspection QR code must have the iAuditor mobile app installed on their mobile device.

Create a QR code

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Templates from the left-hand side menu.

  3. Click image on the right-hand side of the template and select QR code iconGet QR code. A screenshot showing how to generate an inspection QR code in the web app.

  4. In the pop-up window, click Download iconDownload QR code on the bottom of the page. If you prefer to use a link, click Copy content iconCopy link to copy it. A screenshot showing how to download a 'start inspection' QR code via the web app.

  5. Print the QR code or share the link so your team members can start inspections easily.
