Learn how to unlock your SafetyCulture account.

How does an account become locked?

Your account becomes locked after 10 consecutive failed login attempts as a security measure. Once the account is locked, the lockout permanently remains until the steps below are taken to unlock it.

Take note

  • You can request a password reset via the web app and the mobile app if you've forgotten your password.

  • Make sure that your inbox spam filter is not blocking emails from, which sends an account unlock email.

  • Your account becoming locked is different to your account being inactive. If your account is inactive, please contact your administrator for assistance with reactivating your account.

To unlock your account, you'll need access to the email address associated with your SafetyCulture account. If you cannot access its inbox, please contact your administrator or our customer support team for further assistance.

Unlock your account

  1. When your account becomes locked, you'll receive an email titled "SafetyCulture Account Locked". An "account locked" email.

  2. Click Yes, unlock account in the email to open a web page.

  3. Log in to your SafetyCulture account.

  4. This takes you to the SafetyCulture Dashboard, or "Home" for mobile devices, indicating that your account is now unlocked.
