SafetyCulture mobile app inspection error troubleshooting guide

Take a look at the error messages you may come across for inspections on the SafetyCulture mobile app and learn how to resolve each error.

Before you follow the guide, please make sure:

  • The SafetyCulture mobile app is up to date.

  • Your mobile device has an internet connection.

  • Not to delete or uninstall the mobile app unless instructed by our Support Team, as it can cause data loss.

Edit inspection error

This message indicates that you no longer have the access or access level required to edit the inspection. You can contact your administrator to request reinstatement of your inspection access. Once reinstated, manually sync the mobile app to edit the inspection.

This message indicates that the inspection may have been archived. You can refresh the inspection list by manually syncing the mobile app. You should also check if the mobile app is on the latest version via the Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for iOS devices.

This message indicates you may be conducting the inspection with an outdated template. Check if the mobile app is on the latest version via the Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for iOS devices. This message indicates that you no longer have the access or access level required to conduct inspections from the template. At this point, you will not be able to save or sync any information. You will need to contact the template owner to request reinstatement of your template access. Once reinstated, you can manually sync the mobile app and conduct the inspection again.
