From EdApp facilitators to SafetyCulture team managers

Learn the difference between an EdApp facilitator and a SafetyCulture Training team manager and how to assign and unassign team managers so you can migrate your team with confidence.

What is the difference between the EdApp facilitator role and the SafetyCulture team manager role?

Before you assign a user as a team manager, ensure they're assigned a permission set that has "Training: Manage teams" permission.

Assign a team manager

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Training in the sidebar or select it in More.

  3. Select Manage Teams at the top of the page.

  4. Click the group or site name.

  5. In the side panel, search for the user in the "Manager" field and select them. Assign a team manager for a site via the web app.

  6. Click Save.

Bulk assign team managers

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Training in the sidebar or select it in More.

  3. Select Manage Teams at the top of the page.

  4. Check the boxes of the groups and sites you want to assign team managers to. Your selections will be kept as you switch between the "Groups" and "Sites" tabs.

  5. Click Assign on the lower-right corner of the page. Bulk assign team managers to groups and sites via the web app.

  6. In the pop-up window, search for the user in the "Manager" field and select them.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Click Assign managers.

Unassign a team manager

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Training in the sidebar or select it in More.

  3. Select Manage Teams at the top of the page.

  4. Click the group or site name.

  5. In the side panel, click on the user's right-hand side or click Clear all. Unassign a team manager from a group via the web app.

  6. Click Save.
