Migrate from EdApp to SafetyCulture

Last updated: May 29, 2026

From EdApp frozen user groups to SafetyCulture deactivated users

Learn what the differences are between frozen user groups in EdApp and deactivated users in SafetyCulture so you can determine how to revoke user access after migrating.

What are the differences between frozen user groups and deactivated users?

In EdApp, frozen user groups restrict login access for their members while preserving their completion data. Deactivating a user in SafetyCulture, on the other hand, temporarily revokes their access and preserves all their data. While frozen user groups only restrict access, deactivating a user also frees up a seat.
