Link templates to issue categories

Learn how to link templates to issue categories via the web app and mobile app to help streamline the resolution process of a reported issue.

After reporting an issue, users typically need to conduct an inspection to start a more detailed analysis of the incident. Making templates readily available at this point helps them streamline their incident resolution process and ensures they capture all the details accurately.

You can pre-select up to 25 templates to link to an issue category.

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Issues iconIssues in the sidebar or select it in Assets gallery view iconMore.

  3. Select Categories at the top of the page.

  4. Click More horizontal icon on the right-hand side of the category and select Pencil iconEdit.

  5. In the Workflow tab, go to the "Linked templates" section.

  6. Click PlusLink templates if you're linking a template for the first time.

  7. If the template is already linked, click Pencil iconEdit.

  8. Search and select the templates you want to link to the issue category. Then, click Done.

  9. Click Save.
