Pause or resume inspection schedules (legacy experience)
Learn how to pause inspection schedules via the web app.We currently have a legacy and a new experience with the Schedules feature.
This article covers the legacy Schedules experience. Please ensure you're in the legacy experience by using the toggle on the upper-left of the Schedules page.
If you have "Schedules: Manage" permission, you can manage all schedules in your organization.
Pause a schedule
Select
Schedules from the menu on the left-hand side.Click Manage schedules on the top of the page.
Click the schedule.
Click
Pause on the lower-right corner of the page.
In the pop-up window, click Pause.
"One-off" inspection schedules cannot be paused.
Bulk pause schedules
Select
Schedules from the menu on the left-hand side.Click Manage schedules on the top of the page.
Check the boxes of schedules you want to pause.
Click
Change status on the lower-right corner of the page and select Pause.
In the pop-up window, click Pause.
Resume a schedule
Select
Schedules from the menu on the left-hand side.Click Manage schedules on the top of the page.
Click the schedule.
Click
Resume on the lower-right corner of the page.
In the pop-up window, click Resume.
Bulk resume schedules
Select
Schedules from the menu on the left-hand side.Click Manage schedules on the top of the page.
Check the boxes of schedules you want to resume.
Click
Change status on the lower-right corner of the page and select Resume.
In the pop-up window, click Resume.
What are the differences between the legacy and new Schedules experience?
Feature | Legacy | New |

Set end date for schedules | Scheduled repeats continued indefinitely unless manually paused or deleted. | You can set a schedule to end on a specific date or after a number of repeats. This helps when you only need a schedule to run for a limited time, removing the need for manual updates later on. |
Pause schedules | Scheduled repeats could be manually paused at any time, allowing you to temporarily stop inspections without deleting the schedule. One-off schedules could not be paused. | The option to pause schedules is not supported in the new Schedules experience. If this is important to your organization, let us know by providing your feedback. |
Frequently asked questions
Resuming schedules will always resume inspection windows on their next occurrence. For example:
A daily inspection, scheduled from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
If you pause the daily schedule on Tuesday at 4:00 pm and resume it on Thursday at 8:45 am, the next scheduled inspection window will start on Thursday at 9:00 am.
