Spaced Repetition is a feature in SafetyCulture Training that helps you retain important information through short, targeted quizzes based on courses you’ve started. It’s built on the concept of spaced repetition, a learning technique that strengthens long-term memory by reviewing information at strategic intervals.
Once you’ve answered a question in a course that’s been selected for Spaced Repetition, your first quiz will be ready 24 hours later. The questions are ones you’ve already seen in your training, and new ones will be added as you complete other Spaced Repetition-enabled courses.
Questions you answer correctly during each quiz will appear less often in future quizzes, while those you answer incorrectly will return in the next day’s quiz. This helps you focus on what you still need to learn until you get it right.

Select
Training in the sidebar or select it in 
More.If you're on the "Content" page, click Learn at the top of the page.
Click the Spaced Repetition quiz.
Click Boost and select Let's start!.
To complete the quiz, answer each question accordingly.
Open the mobile app.
Tap
Training in the navigation bar or select it from More. If you're currently on Facilitate or Create tab, tap Learn at the top of your screen.Tap the Spaced Repetition quiz.
Tap Boost and select Let's start!.
To complete the quiz, answer each question accordingly.
You will receive a new Spaced Repetition quiz every day until all questions are answered correctly and no new ones are added.
Frequently asked questions
A streak is the number of Spaced Repetition questions you answer correctly in a row within a single quiz. If you get a question wrong, your streak resets to 0. Streaks can help you stay focused during a quiz and give you a sense of how consistently you're answering correctly.
No, Spaced Repetition scores don't count towards leaderboards.
You may start and complete multiple quizzes per day, provided there are quizzes available.
Once all questions have been reinforced, Spaced Repetition quizzes will no longer appear.
If you answer all Spaced Repetition questions correctly the first time, you won’t see a quiz the following day. Instead, the questions will reappear after a few days, following a spaced repetition schedule designed to help reinforce your memory over time.
Yes, if you keep answering questions correctly and no new question is added, you’ll see fewer Spaced Repetition quizzes over time. However, if you answer incorrectly, the streak resets, and that question will show up again the next day.
