Yes, SafetyCulture data is backed up at regular intervals to disparate encrypted data storage solutions provided by Amazon Web Services. Backups are replicated across multiple AWS facilities within the same jurisdiction. Read about our security processes to learn more.
Some features in SafetyCulture are not supported to function across data centers. In SafetyCulture, you may see references to data centers as "regions".
Adding users in other data centers
When attempting to add a user whose account exists in another data center to your organization, you may encounter an error, such as in the example below. To add the user to your organization, you can add them using an alternative email address (for example, "email@example.com") which creates a new account for them in the same data center as yours.
External template access
When an organization's data is stored in a different data center to your organization's, you'll only be able to send them a copy of your template rather than giving them external template access directly.
