Upload videos in inspections
Learn how to upload videos in inspections via the web app and the mobile app.
Why upload videos in inspections?
You might come across a time when you prefer to upload a video instead of capturing multiple photos and typing in detailed notes. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video might be worth a million. In addition to uploading photos and PDF files in inspections, you can upload videos in inspections for an immersive inspection experience.

You can only upload videos in supported formats in an inspection.
Upload a video in an inspection
Click
Attach media on the question's lower-right. You can also click 
Add media to upload a video to a question using the "media" response type.This opens a window to your computer file directory.
Select the video and click Open to upload it to the question. The video must be three minutes or less in length to upload successfully.
Open the mobile app.
Tap Inspections at the bottom of your screen.

Take video (up to 3 mins): Record a video with your mobile device's camera and tap Upload video to upload it to the question.
Video gallery: Select the video and tap Done to upload it to the question. The video must be three minutes or less in length to upload successfully.
Open the mobile app.

Video library: Tap the video to upload it to the question. If the video is longer than three minutes, you'll be prompted to trim it as part of the upload process.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload videos to questions using the instruction response type?
No, only the "media" response type questions support videos at this stage.
Can I upload as many videos as I want?
Absolutely! You can upload an unlimited number of videos in an inspection, but each video must be in a supported format and can only be up to three minutes long.
Can I upload videos while offline?
Yes, you can upload videos while offline on the mobile app. Videos you've uploaded while offline will be automatically synced once you reconnect with a stable internet connection.
