What are logic fields and conditions?

Learn what logic fields are, the available logic fields, and logic conditions to help you build smarter, more efficient templates that guide users, capture accurate data, and streamline inspection workflows.

What are logic fields and conditions?

Logic fields allow you to build smarter templates by controlling what happens when a user selects a response. When a condition is met, SafetyCulture can automatically show follow-up questions, require notes or media, prompt an action, or notify the right people. Logic conditions are the rules that control when each of those responses triggers. For example, a failed equipment check could immediately prompt a corrective action and alert a site manager. Together, they turn a static checklist into a dynamic workflow that guides users, captures the right data, and keeps the right people informed.
