Filter and sort Heads Ups

Learn how to filter and sort your Heads Ups via the web app and the Android mobile app.

Why filter and sort Heads Ups?

As you publish and assign more Heads Ups, your list can become harder to manage. Filtering and sorting options can help you narrow down the list and access the Heads Ups you need quickly.

Take note

  • If you have the "Heads Up: Manage" permission, you'll be able to see both the "My Heads Up" and "Manage Heads Up" tabs via the web app.

  • Filtering and sorting aren't supported via the SafetyCulture mobile app for iOS.

Filters and sorting orders you apply on the web app and mobile app will stay in place, even if you navigate between pages or log out and log in.

Filter Heads Ups

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Heads Up from the menu on the left-hand side.

  3. Select the My Heads Up tab on the top of the page.

  4. Click Add section button within TrainingAdd filter on the upper-left of the list and select from the filter options:

    • Author: The user who created a Heads Up.

    • Status: The acknowledgment status of a Heads Up. Either "Complete" or "Incomplete".

    • Published date: The date a Heads Up was published.

  5. Click Done.

  6. This refreshes the list to show only Heads Ups within your filter.

  7. You can stack multiple filters to narrow down your page even further, or click image on existing filters to remove and start again.

  1. Open the mobile app.

  2. Tap Assets gallery view iconMore on the lower-right of your screen.

  3. Tap Heads Up.

  4. Tap the icon at the upper-left of the Heads Up list.

  5. Select from the filter options:

    • Author: The user who created a Heads Up.

    • Status: The acknowledgment status of a Heads Up. Either "Complete" or "Incomplete".

  6. Tap the tick icon on the upper-right of your screen.

  3. Select the Manage Heads Up tab on the top of the page.

  4. Click Add section button within TrainingAdd filter on the upper-left of the list and select from the filter options:

    • Assignee: The assignees of a Heads Up.

    • Author: The user who created a Heads Up.

    • Status: The acknowledgment status of a Heads Up. Either "Complete" or "Incomplete".

  5. Click Done.

  6. This refreshes the list to show only Heads Ups within your filter.

  7. You can stack multiple filters to narrow down your list even further, or click image on existing filters to remove and start again.

You can only filter all published Heads Ups via the web app.

Sort Heads Ups

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Heads Up from the menu on the left-hand side.

  3. Select the My Heads Up tab on the top of the page.

  4. By default, the list is sorted by "Publish date" from the most recently published.

  5. Click the blue text above the Heads Ups, next to the up or down arrow to sort by other options:

    • Publish date: Sort by Heads Up publish date.

    • Title: Sort by Heads Up name.

    • Completed: Sort by Heads Up completed.

  6. You can also click the arrow to sort list in the opposite orders, based on the option you've selected:

    • Completed: Down arrow sorts from completed Heads Ups. Up arrow sorts from unacknowledged Heads Ups.

    • Publish date: Down arrow sorts from the most recently published Heads Up. Up arrow sorts from the oldest Heads Up by publish date.

    • Title: Down arrow sorts in the descending order alphabetically. Up arrow sorts from the ascending order alphabetically.

  1. Open the mobile app.

  2. Tap Assets gallery view iconMore on the lower-right of your screen.

  3. Tap Heads Up.

  4. By default, the list is sorted by "Completed".

  5. Tap the dropdown menu next to the filter icon at the top of the Heads Up list.

  6. Select from the sort options:

    • Completed: Sort from unacknowledged to acknowledged Heads Ups.

    • Publish date: Sort from the recently published Heads Ups.

    • Title: Sort in descending order alphabetically.

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Select Heads Up from the menu on the left-hand side.

  3. Select the Manage Heads Up tab on the top of the page.

  4. By default, the list is sorted by "Publish date" from the most recently published.

    • Title: Sort by Heads Up name.

    • Title: Down arrow sorts in the descending order alphabetically. Up arrow sorts from the ascending order alphabetically.

You can only sort all published Heads Ups via the web app.
