Frequently asked questions

Yes, there are! We have hundreds of thousands of templates in our Public Library that are fully customizable, ready to be downloaded. Learn how to download templates from the Public Library and upload them to share with the SafetyCulture community.

You can also use our "Create using AI" option to create a starting point for your template.

You might not have the "template creation" permission in your organization. You can reach out to your administrator and request to have the permission assigned to your account.

You might not have the required access level to the template. You can reach out to your colleague and request the "Conduct, edit" or higher access level. If you have the "Admin" permission, you can also gain full access to all templates and inspections by assigning yourself the "data management" permission.

It's likely that you haven't been given access to your team's inspections. You can manage your template's access rules to automatically receive inspection access. Once updated, you can apply the access rules to existing inspections as well.

You can only convert images and PDF forms into templates. If you have a Word or Excel file, you can convert it to an image or PDF or upload your document for our customer enablement team to convert the template for you manually.

Yes, you can! Learn how to duplicate or copy templates.

Yes, you can! However, you both must be on the Premium Plan or Enterprise Plan to give template access across organizations.

If you've personally made the change using the Template Editor, you may be able to restore the template using the "Undo" button on the upper-right of your page or screen. Alternatively, if you have an inspection conducted using the template in its original state, please contact our customer support team for assistance.
