Add or remove my mobile number from my SafetyCulture account

Learn how to add or remove from your mobile number from your account via the web app to receive notifications via SMS or calls.

If you’re in multiple organizations, you'll need to add your mobile number separately per organization to receive SMS notifications.

What you'll need

If your organization is on Premium Plan trial, adding a mobile number to your account and receiving SMS notifications won't be available during the trial.

Add your mobile number

  1. Log in to the web app.

  2. Click your username on the lower-left corner of the page and select My Profile.

  3. Click Settings iconSettings on the upper-right of the page.

  4. Click Pencil iconEdit in the "Mobile number" box. If you already have a mobile number and want to change it, remove the number first, then continue adding your new number. Edit the mobile number for your SafetyCulture account via the web app.

  5. Select your region and enter your mobile number.

  6. Click Save and send verification code. This sends a six-digit verification code to your mobile number as a text message.

  7. Enter the verification code.

  8. Click Verify.

For security reasons, you can only request up to 3 verification codes per hour. If you’re adding mobile numbers to multiple accounts, you can only request up to 10 verification codes per hour based on your IP address.

Frequently asked questions

Adding a mobile number is only available to users in organizations on Premium Plan or Enterprise Plan. If your organization needs to add mobile numbers to receive SMS notifications, contact your SafetyCulture account representative to upgrade your organization to a paid plan.

Receiving SMS notifications requires a mobile number to be added to your account, which is only available to users in organizations on Premium Plan or Enterprise Plan.

If your organization is on Free Plan or Premium Plan trial, you won't be able to add a mobile number, so SMS notifications can't be received. If you already have a mobile number saved on your account, you can still receive SMS notifications for now. However, support for this will be removed in a future update.
